Piano

Maria is an award winning Pianist, recording Arstist, Piano and Music Teacher with multiple participations in opera productions, philharmony and chamber concerts, radio, TV programs, open air shows in Bulgaria, Poland, Belgium, Germany, Finland, Sweden, USA. She is a wonderful piano performer adept in creating an exciting and inspiring teaching atmosphere. Maria’s family moved from Bulgaria to the USA in 2018.

Maria holds a Phd in Music Theory, as well as a Master’s degree in Piano Performance and Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Plovdiv University Paisii Hilendarski, Bulgaria. She also holds a Professional Educator License K-12, adept in creating an exiting and inspiring teaching atmosphere, looking forward to share her skills and passion for music with the students.

Besides her extensive experience teaching private students of all ages, Maria has also served as Accompanist at Oswego High School,Il ,/2021-2023/ performing for show choir competitions, concerts, conferences, clinics, in the pit orchestra for the musicals “Chicago”and ’The Wedding Singer’.

Maria enjoys reading, going for walks with her husband and two lovely kids Aleks/16/ and Natali/11/.
