Jenny Cook

Piano, voice, guitar and ukulele

Jenny Cook is a piano, voice, guitar and ukulele teacher and Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) in the Chicagoland area. She has worked as a voice teacher privately and in schools and has taught adapted lessons. As a music therapist, Jenny has worked in school settings, mental health settings, hospice, and in memory care. Jenny attended Michigan State University and received a Bachelor of Music in both music performance and music therapy and a Master of Music in vocal performance. Jenny recently attended Alverno College in Milwaukee and received a Master of Music Therapy. Jenny has performed in various operas and shows, most notably as a recitalist in Weill Concert Hall at Carnegie Hall, with Detroit Opera as a young artist, and as a young artist and cover at the Castleton Festival. Jenny decided to make the Chicago area her home in 2014 and started working as a teacher, performer, and music therapist in the area. She enjoys spending time with her husband and toddler, going to concerts.
