Alex Soare

Studio Manager

Alex Soare is the Studio Manager of Lulu’s Music Studio, where he oversees day-to-day operations, teacher coordination, scheduling, family communication, and long-term studio planning. A Chicago native, Alex brings extensive experience in arts administration and music leadership to the studio.

In addition to his work at Lulu’s, Alex serves as the General Director of Chicago Summer Opera, one of the nation’s largest summer training programs for emerging artists, where he leads program development, budgeting, fundraising, and artistic planning.

As a professional bass-baritone, has appeared in leading with companies including Opera Hong Kong, Florida Grand Opera, Nashville Opera, Chicago Opera Theater, Des Moines Metro Opera, Opera Carolina, Opera Grand Rapids, Madison Opera, Anchorage Opera, and at Carnegie Hall, among others. A standout in major competitions, he was a finalist in the Francisco Viñas International Singing Competition in Barcelona and the Marcello Giordani Vocal Competition, and received Third Prize from the Jensen Foundation.

Alex is committed to maintaining high artistic standards while ensuring that Lulu’s Music Studio remains organized, welcoming, and student-centered. His goal is to create a supportive, well-run environment where students and families feel confident, cared for, and inspired.
